Eugene P. Wang, DO
Dr. Eugene Wang is a pain physician practicing in Petoskey and Gaylord Michigan. He is the President of Harborside Spine and Sports Center as well as the Medical Director for Northern Michigan Substance Abuse Services Recovery Center, a nonprofit opiate addiction treatment center. He is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his residency training at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His clinical interests include interventional pain management, musculoskeletal regenerative medicine, and addiction medicine. Other interests include medical missions, cheering on his Spartans, and chasing his 5 kids around.
Joseph P. Sullivan, M.D.
After receiving his medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and resident training at Georgetown/National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, DC, he completed an Orthopedic and Physical Medicine Fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. During his senior year of residency, Dr. Sullivan was the chief resident and Resident of the Year. Dr. Sullivan is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He brings expertise in pain management and rehabilitation and offers interventional spine procedures and electrodiagnostics. Dr. Sullivan lives with his wife and three children in Petoskey and enjoys hiking and skiing.
Bryan D. Visser, M.D.
Dr. Visser completed a year of internal medicine at Bladgett Memorial Hospital in Grand Rapids after graduating from Wayne State University in 1980. He completed his residency program at the University of Texas in San Antonio in 1984. He became the Medical Director of Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo of rehab services where he founded his private practice and served as an assistant professor to MSU Medical School. He sold his practice in Kalamazoo and now limits his practice to electrodiagnostic medicine. He and his wife enjoy walking and enjoying God’s beautiful creation.
Jason D. Peterman MSM, PA-C
Jason graduated in 2002 with a Master's of Medicine degree as a Physician Assistant from Trevecca Nazarene University. Since 2002 he has worked primarily in neurosurgery, where he has gained extensive knowledge of diagnosing and treating spine pathology, including learning how to read MRI's, CT's and x-rays of the spine. In the last five years, in addition to full-time work in neurosurgery he also was a clinical preceptor for physician assistant students at Rush University and he was an adjunct professor at Olivet Nazarene University where he taught anatomy and physiology classes. He can offer a caring and compassionate approach to the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, and he can provide numerous Ultrasound guided musculoskeletal injections.
Jason lives in Petoskey with his wonderful wife and two amazing daughters. He enjoys spending time outside with his family and enjoying God's amazing creation in Northern Michigan, along with camping, running, biking, hunting and fishing.
Kelli M. Brower, PA-C
After receiving her Masters of Physician Assistant Degree at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California, Kelli practiced in orthopedic surgery for 2 years at Coon Joint Replacement Institute in Angwin, California. Missing her home state of Michigan, she soon moved back and accepted a position with Petoskey Surgeons, based at Mclaren Health Systems in Petoskey, Michigan. She spent 2 years there before accepting her current position with Harborside Spine & Sports Center.
Kelli's bachelor's degree in nutrition aids her in her expertise and passion for fitness and nutrition. Kelli and her husband, Kirt, recently became parents and enjoy family time, working out at home as well as the gym and boating the Great Lakes. Kelli is also an accomplished aerial silk artist and gymnast and has enjoyed performing for various festivals in Northern Michigan.
